America's Great Loop Cruisers Association Member & Sponsor Directory app for iPhone and iPad

The AGLCA Directory app provides the ability to search the member database to quickly find information bout members and sponsors. Enter a name, a city, a zip code, a boat name, etc and get back a list of members who fit the criteria. If using an iPhone simple tap on the listed phone number to call a member or tap on the email address to contact them.

The app also automatically reports your position and displays it on maps along along with the appropriate Burgee (flag) for your membership or sponsorship. Burgees are also displayed for all members who have the app and reported their position. All sponsors are also shown on maps. Taping on any of the burgees will display the information for that member or sponsor. The member can set the the distance from their current location for which burgees are displayed (the default is 25 miles). The end result of all this is to allow a member who is cruising to locate and contact other members and sponsors in the same general area very quickly.
